Hi layne here I just recently bought a 01 cbr 929 and have no spark to the coils and my head light and guage wiring is a basket case and also the ignition is pulled apart and on more thing in not sure where my fuel pump plugs in at cuz there is no connector on it just extended wires if anyone has some pictures and some advice on my issue it would be much appreciated

 

Fix all the wiring the best you can. The ignition switch needs to be functional for it to start. There is a built-in diode that is a security feature that the ecu needs to see for it to work.

Unless you are in Europe, then its has HISS and which is an entirely different monster.

 

That zener diode kills the FI and ignition system. Are your throttle bodies getting signal? The black wire with the white stripe, are you getting 12v to it?
