Check and make sure the plug wires are on the right cylinders.
Open the drain screw on the carb bowl and see if gas comes out.
Pull the plugs and see if they are flooded.
Is the choke on?
Kill switch on?
Fuel petcock/valve on?
Did you take the carbs apart?

If that is good there is no reason why it shouldn't start. Maybe squirt some ether in one or two carbs, see if it tries to start

I have done all of that and it does fire with either and I did not take the carbs apart because if was running good enough that I did not need too. If the fuel pump is not putting out right but is still working could that be the problem. I have done everything that I know what to do. I am not a mechanic but I know the basics and it wont run from the fuel in the tank thanks for the help

If you aren't getting enough pressure, then yes, it be a problem.

Was that the fuel filter or the air filter you checked? (since you don't say which of the three) Maybe you knocked some crap loose and it clogged the filter.

I have checked both filters and pulled the gas line off the pump to see if it was working and the gas is coming out of the pump. The air filter was clean and the fuel filter was not that bad. The gas is getting to the carbs but they wont pick it up and run because the line has pressure where it splits off to the carbs. The carbs have gas in the bowls so I am at a lost. Guess I will have to put it in the shop and let the pros fix it

THANKS FOR THE HELP

mine was in similar condition, I installed new spark plugs, air filter oil filter and oil. Then she started back up a lil rought on the RMP, my step-dad (a mechanic) told me it was a bad fuel/air mixture (carb synch). So I parked it for bout 3 weeks, then i tried to fire her up again and she just wouldn't start. Since I already need to to clean and sych the carbs I took it to the shop, they even thru in a tank wash free. Again she didnt start before going in and i didnt wanna force her to, so i just took it in and let them do their work and hand it back to me in workin order..hopefully..lol
