Default Chinese Adjustable Footpegs

Hi Folks

I was still having problems using the footbrake even after having my seat reprofiled and using the Buell footpeg mod, spotted these Adjustable Footpegs on Fleabay, problem cured I can now use the footbrake no problem, I've used Loctite to keep them secure as I don't trust chinese engineering tolerances, cheap as well. The description says 1990 bikes onward, mine is a 1989 Gen1 F-J and they fit fine.

Cheers, Steve

Yep Sprock, they are a bit skewed both sides, always been like that since I've had the bike, they feel comfortable enough, not been out for a ride on her yet due to our lovely weather but I can't see them being any different feelwise to the Buell pegs I had on before. If they don't work out I can always got for those available through Buster's Motorcycle Accessories bit more expensive but you can choose from a range of pegs.

Cheers, Steve

You know I looked at my oem pegs on the 87 and yeah they are a bit splayed as
well due to the way the brackets are mounted to the frame with rubber etc.

I like the black ones you got Steve can't be beat for the price - make a good stocking stuffer
