Default Help? 2002 F4i, What parts needed for a service?

Hi guys, First post! Been wandering around and lurking this forum for awhile, its very helpful!, Now i have a very handy mate, who is very mechanically minded with bikes! (We literally just dropped in a new motor in his Ducati 900SS!) Now instead of me paying out my **** for a service, (total of $750AUS) he told me to research what parts in FULL i need to service this bike completely, and we'll do it together! I was hopeing some people on this forum could help me out, by listing the name/id/brand/type of items i need, not just 'chain' 'sprocket' I mean the Type etc, so i can build a full list, and go to the Honda Dealer, and just buy it all! My chain is so loose, that we tightened it one more time, and i hear it almost grinding, constantly its so loose sideways! its BUGGERD!, the sooner i get the list the sooner its done, i appreciate it guys thanks heaps!

2002 Honda CBR600F4i!

No offense, but you're not going to find many people who will take the time to go out and find specific part numbers for everything you need.

Also, if you're going to upgrade parts on your motorcycle, you shouldn't be shopping at the local dealership (unless it's some obscure OEM part).

Rear sprocket is 48Tooth im pretty sure and 16 for the front with a 525 chain. I recomend DID VM2. Either NGK or denso plugs will work. Google Honda Motorcycle parts and check the catalog/fiche for part numbers etc etc.

Im sure all you need is a set of plugs and an air filter. Maybe replace all fluids, coolant/brake/oil. Coolant and brake id get honda and oil id do Mobil 1 MX4T or Amsoil motorcycle.

I say go to the dealer and say all the parts you want and get the part numbers from them. Then go elsewhere to find the aftermarket parts you want. Much easier to find with the part number

Me personally i love using OEM parts unless its something i want to change. The reason is, it lasted for as long as it lasted (unless its something that keeps crapping out) then i stick with OEM. My acura is an 02 with 152k miles and i use nothing but OEM parts.
