Will 1000RR mirrors with turn lights fit?
Does anyone know if the mirrors off the 1000RR will fit on the 2008 600RR? I'm looking to eliminate the front turn signals by putting them in the mirrors. Obviously I'd have to find some spare mirrors with lights in them and reroute the wires, but would the mounting work?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I remember looking into this to do it on my F4i and one of the problems that came up was the lack of adjustibility (the mirrors were useless except for having nice big blinkers, lol).
In case it's the same case for your RR, another option is the integrated mirrors you can buy on eBay, for your specific bike, that work the same as the 1000RR ones.
Hope this helps.

Greatly appreciated. I think I'm gonna go with the model-specific mirrors from speedzilla.com. They have the integrated mirrorsthat can bepivoted about the mount point, something I was concerned about.
If I remember correctly, the '08 1kRR has mirrors that don't pivot about the mounting point but you can adjust the position of the mirror itself. I could be wrong since I only played withit at the stealership...

They pivot and the glass pivots as well. They are just as good as any other stock ones. I wouldnt call them useless by any means

Although I'm not sure i'm supposed to do this, you should check out the 600rr.net forum. Search for this mod (or PM for the link). They have a good write up on it for the 600RR, though I'm not sure it will work the same for the F4i. Quick summary: Mirrors were functional after some modification of the cowl, but there still remains a small gap between the upper cowl and the base of the mirror mounting.
Also, for completeness' sake, I'm gonna go with the Futura mirrors from speedzilla.com. They are specific bolt-ons for the CBR600RR and do not have the gap problem aswith the 1KRR mirrors. I will probably get some flush mounts to fill the stock signal hole and just relay a wire to them to render them functional as well.
