Ok - I know your suppose to get a helmet that matches your jacket and not bike so I need some help.

I have a 05 F4i - color = Silver/Silver Metallic

My jacket is White - I have a Icon Accelerant Perforated Jacket.

And I'm about to get a Shoei RF-1000 Strife Helmet.

I'm debating between the Black or Red Strife.

I'm leaning torward the black because it will match the bike better but then again the red will stand out more making people notice me more - I want to make sure people see me when I'm riding.

Doesn't matter what matches what. Get something comfortable.

My bike is white, my jacket is black/gray/white, and my helmet is bright orange.

 

I know comfortability is key (#1)

But getting a black vs red or vice/versa has nothing to do with comfort - it's the same helmet with different color graphics.

I'm just asking what color would you choose?

I can go either way and still be comfortable.

 

I think the black one looks better. Go with the black one over the red one.

Looks like Black it is - thanks for the feedback. I like the Red at first but then thought it was a little too much - when I saw the black on - it seem perfect - the dragon is still very noticable.

I'm going with the Strife because it's over $130 cheaper then the other designs - the helmet is still Brand New - Still in Box - selling for $349 online.

 

I guess I just don't understand why the question was asked in the first place. It's YOUR helmet, not ours. Shouldn't let a forum decide your opinion on something.

 

True - in the end it's still my decision - I just wanted to get someone elses opinion.

Now if it was a simple question like should I get a red bike or black bike then it really my decision.

My question was what do you think would look better with a silver/silver metallic bike andwhite jacket. But your right in the end it's still my decision.
