Default Can this be done?

Can you take off the plastic attachment on the rear where the license plate is attached to? I thought I saw a few bikes on here without it, but when I went to do it I noticed the turn signals are linked to it as well. Can anyone help?

You might be asking about a fender eliminator kit, do a search for those words. some plastic cutting is involved.

Haha great. That's what I'm looking to do. Are there instructions to that? I'm a noob to the forum and to bikes so when I search, I may not be looking in the right place or using the wrong words

There's some good DIY's out there, and some good pre-made undertails. A google search or ebay search will pop up with PLENTY of ones you can buy. As far as DIY's, I'm sure theres some others on this forum, as well as others. Here's 2 I plan on referring to specifically when I do mine this summer

I would NOT recommend a Rumble undertail either. It looks REALLY hot and I get a ton of compliments on it but it doesn't fit right and the wiring they use is really crappy. I should have just went to radio shack and spent $20, made my own lights and then flushed $260 down the toilet and waved it goodbye. hah

An undertail should be a one day job with a Dremel and a take-no-prisoners attitude. The kits have instructions(usually). I have a Hotbodies, Its ok. One problem, without the fender you're gonna get all kinds of filth up in there.

If you have questions just ask. I'll try to do a write up as I'm suppose to make an undertail like mine for a member here on the boards soon.
