Be more specific. Why aren't any wires hooked up? I just got done throwing a new engine into my bike today, and everything has it's place and I wouldn't ride without any of it, as it is so easy to connect. If you need wires, I have nearly a full set from my old engine that ill give you for a few bucks plus shipping.

i just purchased the bike, the bike is naked, so all the wires are hanging in front of the bike. i intend to make a stunt bike out of it, so gauges, blinkers and everything of the like are useless. i just need to know what wires are absolutlely necessary for the bike to run. any help would be great

If everything is hooked up except for what's on the front of the bike, then you'll need to just hook up the ignition and the wiring for the right clip-on's switches.

ok, so there are no other wires that need to be connected to keep the bike running?? like no wires from my left bar need to be fed?

so i should be safe to cut the wires that run to my left bar and everything for my gauges? what about the pink wire? i read up on threads and always hear about the pink wire on f3's. what is it for?

my major issue is that i'm not getting any spark. my lights still comeon. i have no blown fuses, the bike still turns over, it's stilll getting fuel, but i'm not getting any spark. what could my issue be?

Well the left clip-on is just for the lights and horn so there's no need for it. When I crashed my bike I had to pull the fairing stay off and had the front part of the wiring harness just hanging like how you described. Bike ran fine without the gauges, just had to hook up the ignition and right clip-on.

Not sure about the no spark thing, but the best advice i could give you is to pull the tank and airbox off and find the ignition coils and trace the wires back to the wiring harness to check to make sure it's all connected. Is your ECU connected also?

yeh, the choke is a cable, not a wire. so it's safe.

yeh, everything is hooked up. i had the bike running, but then i started cutting wires one by one and i can't figure which one killed it. i already pulled out the tank/airbox and the wires to the coils are hooked up. they don't run forward, they run back to the ignition box(?). the ecu is the box behind the battery, right? if so, that's all hooked up as well, i think my problem could be the kill switch, that will cut out the spark/fuel/etc right?

The kill switch will kill the spark, but also prevent the starter from working. It sounds like you need a wiring diagram to fix the bike.

http://www.stephygee.com/F3manual.zip See if that manual helps.

edit: not sure where the coils hook up to, I was just guessing. And the ECU is on the right side of the subframe behind the battery box
