Speedo Healer questions
I recently created a post regarding gearing changes and a 520 conversion, I plan on aslo installing a speedo healer. I understand that it corrects the difference in the speedometer, but they are also addvertised as plug and play units. For those of you who have used these before, how exactly do they work and what elsecan they do besides correct the speedo?
i dont think that there really is anything else they do. plug and play to me means that its just a straight on plug into the bike and it will work. i have one and thats all it does. stays on the bike the whole time.
For me it was a PITA to install... It's basically a 1 step installation, but the connector is a bitch to get at. As long as you know where the connector is and can get at it easily, its not too bad and well worth it
+1
I ended up taking of my throttle bodies to give me more room to see down to the speed sensor. It wasn't necessary but it took me a while to find. Not much hand room to work with.
