Hey guys I have a 01 f4i and I want to raise it back to stock height. The previous owner had it lowered and had a shorter kickstand installed. Other than a longer kickstand what else do I need? I think both the front and back are lowered. How can I raise it back to stock height and will be easy enough to do it myself or should i take it to a shop? Please be detailed as I have no clue where to start. I almost ate it yesterday because the bike didnt corner well so putting it back to how it should be is a smart decision. Thanks yall!

 

For the rear you need the lowering link gone and stock link back on. For the front you have to loosen all 6 bolts and jack up the bike letting the forks drop down then tighten all the bolts.

My bike is the same way and quite possibly during the winter i will be doing this as well. Check one of my threads someone post how to raise the front back up

 

You can do it with a few tools and a little ability. To rase the Ft like he said it is 6 bolts and the back is 6 bolts too. you should not need anything else I cna think of off hand.

i got a dog bone on my bike that i need to take off and put the stock one on cause my bike is way to low

 

I am thinking about lowering my bike so my girlfriend can ride it..then get another bike for myself like an RR....how badly does this affect the bike?
