190/50/zr 17 in tire on stock rim

Default 190/50/zr 17 in tire on stock rim

i gotta a 99 f4 and i was wondering can you put a smaller but wider tire on the stock rim i know the tire i hav right now is a 180/55/ZR 17 will can i put a 190/50/ZR 17 on there???

I believe you can fit a 190 on there, dunno about any wider

Check chain clearence, I was gonna go with the 190/50 too, but I wasn't sure of the chain, so I just stuck with the 180. jmo.

I got a 190/55 on mine. Came with the bike brand new so it's kinda hard to take it off. I wil go back to the 180 though when rubber is dead.

For this size rim it's not recommended.
I know we all like the wide look from the rear, but you don't gain much at all visualy with this rim size.
Trust me, I tried it on my Futura, same rim size.
