My girl named mine Savannah. Not sure why she picked it but I like to think of it like the pornstar, Savannah Samson.

well wifey called my 91 civic hatch(sold) "anna" and my cbr was "renee" i ask her why those names she then said, b/c with my car she found a girls # in it with the name anna , and for my bike she said she found a girls # with Renee in my jacket pocket .... ?? i was like wha!? no way ? LOL !

I still haven't thought of a name for my next bike..

I name all my vehicles with Viking names, or the name of a Norse god. my last one was Thor, new bike will be Magnus which means great one in swedish.

I'm not one to use girls names for my vehicles, never have been nor will I.

My first bike was named Grace it was a suzuki Savage. My GS i called cheap ho, because when i first got her she spent more time lying down than a cheap ho.

I didn't name my bike, my friends just pinned the nick name "Death" on it. Appearently they have been calling it that for awhile, when I found out I was a little pissed off at first then I figured whatever, call it what you like, long as I get to ride it.
When I asked why they gave it that name they said it's because 1) the previous owner died when he layed it down in a corner and jumped away from the bike and slid into a trelephone pole. That and they think all motorcycles are death traps.
I asked then why in the hell they would name my bike, do you really talk about it that much it needs a name?
They said that when someone calls and asks if they know where I am or if I'm with them and they know I'm out riding, thier usuall response is "He's out riding death again"

Kind of sick if you ask me.

I haven't named my bike myself but when I am out in the garage working on here alone, I do refer to her as "Baby" like "C'mon baby, start" or "Lookin good baby" etc.

I have a 2006 CBR600RR and her name is Harmony.

Why? Because everyone has some sort of bond with their vehicles. When my CBR performes great or I get a better lap time at the track, I pat the side fairing. I don't know why, it's just something you have a bond with. Kind of like a dog or cat.

"Ol Glory" is my 1993 CBR600F2 (Red/White/Blue). My XX is Betty (Oh Black Betty). Mostly though I only say nice things to my bike after a big ride or some scary near miss we survive.

First because no one else mentioned it (and I have a tendency to be a male chauvenist pig - ask my old lady she will agree), do you know why all vehicles have female names? Because you have to tell them what to do.

I just refer to my bike as "her." It is more of mistress type thing, because giving her a name would only make the wife more visibly upset.

The first week I had my bike, trying to learn its personality and all of that, I decided that it had to have a name. Something with so much character could not remain nameless. I didn't want to pick something that was irrelevant, and being that it's an F3, I named it Effie.

My all red 900rr has been effectionatly named the red headed slut. She f#$%^d my friend the first time they went out. (He lowsided it at about 120 around a corner.) But she is all put back together now... so is he.

my f4i is named dian...y? idk...but i deff have a special bond with her...pat her on the gas tank when shes performing well, and hug the tail when i walk into the garage wheres shes parked nose 1st cause its so cold and i miss her...shes deff a woman, curvy agile, strong when she needs to be, but gentle when she wants...and gives mea similarkind of pleasure(mentally, emotionally)

my car is named bruce...y? odd story, my 1st car was blue, so i had a bunch of blue accesories from it, put it on my new, black, car...so its black and blue, like a bruise...so he's bruce...i thought i was being clever, lol...and he's deff a guy...unreliable, rough, only strong when he really wants to show off

my 1st car('91 civic DX) was named rusty...y? named by my friend, bc he had a huge rusted hole on the trunk....RIP rusty(1991-2005)...lol
