Default Wheelie School

Hi All,

I just signed up for a couple days in Pomona, CA this June at this wheelie school (One One Wheel). I read thru the website and it looks like a blast....

Anyone ever take this class ? If so, what did you think of it ?

Yep, and it was a blast! After you get over the innate urge to "right" (lean forward to bring the bike back down when you get the front up) yourself on the bike, the rest comes easy. You'll get a lot of wheelie runs so you'll be pretty beat by the end of the day. The second part (II) let's you try it with your own bike but I don't know if you signed up for that? Either way, eat a good breakfast, take a small snack lunch, wear good gear (you'd be amazed what folks will show up with), and you should be fine. Watch out for the tank slap [:@] and have FUN!!!!

One of these days I'll sign up for another class...that's how much fun I had the first time

Hey thats great to hear Stephygee !! It sounds like the class will be great and I am really looking forward to it. I signed up for the same class twice with one day break in between..I figured the second time around will just be practicing more wheelies. Since I am coming down all the way from Toronto, Canada I figured I should stay down for a couple more days ...Did you get into a slapper or two ? I am bringing full leathers with armour...but the only thing I am worried about is broiling to death in full-cow in June in LA..Thanks for writing !

Yes, I've hurt myself a few times with the tank slapper. It was quite traumatizing [:@] and I'm conscious to avoid them when possible.

Not to worry...better to sweat than to bleed, I always say. I know you'll love the class
