serious nitrous question
ok to start off i would like not to be bashed.
i bought my 600rr to race around on the streets with friends. a few years ago i lost my best friend in a bike accident doing a wheelie, got a tank slapper and fell. so after telling you that i would like to make my bike for show and drag track only without a stretched swingarm cause its not needed. i ran 11:00 @129 on it last year.im looking to go faster in the 1320. i have a power comander, geared, yada yada. id like to go low 10's realisticly without buying a new bike.
my question is does anyone on here use it or know someone who does on a bike? i want to know some basic ideas of how it works, rpm's, what gear you spray in or is it on a wot? how often do you have to fill the bottle? ect. i want to know the safest way to use it at the track.
also what kit should i buy formy 03 600 rr. not a universal kit.
please help

CBR_Racin 123. I would like any further info. You might have as far as Nitrous on CBR.

Mad props on keeping the bike stock length. To me, stretching is not necessary until well over 200hp.
These are 3 things I feel are important for nitrous, as I will be running a set-up on mike bike very soon as well.
Make sure your bike is a 99.9% of its potential before trying to get 120% out of it. Make sure your valves are set right (2003 right?), chain and tires are in good shape, and overall bike is ready for it.
Make sure you have all the right electronics in place. WOT activated switch, RPM window switch, and it would be allot easier if you had some kind of Ignition control as well. (but not totally necessary
Research these things here- http://secure.mycart.net/catalogs/ca...mp;fileID=1125
and here- http://www.mpsracing.com/products/MPS/no01.asp
finally, if your yada yada yada mods does not include the bike being lowered and strapped, your gonna have to, especially at stock length.
However, if you have run 11.0s at sock height on an older 2003, then you might be able to aim a little higher towards your goal. Lowered, strapped, running at peak performance, "spraying", and maybe a little air shifting and you might be flirting with the high 9's.
I've been 10.50s constantly on a 03 ZX636, no reason why your bike can't do the same.
Anyone can throw it down in the corners or run 100 on the rear wheel. Cover 1320 in less than 10 and your doin somthin.
