I was wondering if anyone can can advise.

I bought my CBR600F4 with Delkevic 225mm system installed. I measured the noise level (as i've noticed ringing in my ears after a extensive ride), and noticed that despite it has a stock baffle installed, it's still spilling out about 95dbi in 3000RPM.

I have contacted Delkevic, and they don't have a solution (like sparks arrestor) for this model of exhaust, and they advised to get longer exhaust sytem 350mm).

I have tried copuple ear plugs, but they don't seal properly). I think i would like to modify exhaust instead of mitigate issue with earplugs.

Does anyone had any solution for too loud exhaust ?

I would be interested also as I have the longer Delkevic exhaust and would like it a bit quieter (more like the OEM item).

I’ve considered stuffing it with ?rockwoll? but worry it would not be stable enough.

Thoughts?

 

Ed what i found is a plenty of knockoff baffles on aliexpress with different grade of metal and different lenghts as well. I think i wil l take a gamble and get couple of these and try out.

 

I’m fairly happy that the baffle that’s fitted is efficient but it’s still just that bit too loud for my liking - I attract too much attention from the boys in blue without shouting at them :-)
