Hello everyone I just got my first bike and am in love with it. I have one issue though. on the odometer it appears to have a gas tank sensor to show how much fuel i have but mine does not seem to do that.I got my licence today so i just drove around for a while getting some needed experienceand i ran out of gas assuming i had plenty. I embassingly had to push my bike a couple blocks to get some more fuel and it was back to perfect. Does the 98 even have a sensor? I ask because just a quick search online tells me no. If not what is the purpose of that.

I can't speak to your specific bike, but the 98 f3 600 does not. There is the main tank and the reserve. That's it. The best way to tell is to go to an online parts store and look at their digital microfiche and see if you can find one.
