I had an AWESOME day at the track - getting used to the bike. I loved the F4, but the RR really is a lot more refined. This isn't really a fair comparison as the F4 was mostly stock and this is mostly not stock
It is a 2005 CBR with a 2008 motor with full HRC kit, Ohlins+Joe Skid front end, and a top of the line Elka rear shock. It was setup for a guy just about my weight -- and he ran the bike and won amateur 600 and 1000 last year on it.
It is unbelievable how much more power it has, and how much sooner you can get onto the throttle mid corner. I'm currently over braking as all my brake points were set with the F4's brake power in mind. Working on pushing them back and grabbing a lot more gears on the short straights I can.
LOVE the bike -- just getting ready for the season of racing am600 and maybe am1000.
My new lap timer is in the mail too The XT Pro GPS --- will give a review of that soon.

I have one on my 600RR. Have RPM (which you cannot use the inducted sensor, by the way), Throttle Position, Water Temp, Gear, Accel/Deceleration, Lateral G, Brake on/off, and of course speed and position recording. It really is a neat device, very helpful in analyzing your performance, and the newest firmware and software should be out in the next week or so. You might get it early!

Ya -- I've got it setup for TPS, RPM, and front brake switch --- I really like it and am learning a lot about what I'm doing on the bike. Can't wait to get out and apply what I've learned.
Next track time is the track school (missed round one because I blew my fork seals but this gets me good track time before round two).
