Default Why an F4i for stunting?

I am looking to step up from my 99' F4 this winter and get a newer bike. I want a good stunt bike and I know that many stuntas roll F4i's. Why is this? Are they really durable? Is it a balance and power issue? Or is it just a fad?

Also, by the looks of things. All F4i's are the same, with the exception of the horrible honda decision to go back to a banana seat in 04' (What the hell were they thinking?) Are there any performance differences in the models?

Thanks again guys...I promise I'm not trying to bombard the forum but I have alot of questions as a new member.

These are quotes from very experienced stunters.
600f4i - great all around bike... a lil weird in the up right riding position...but built to last and good 4 stunting. and lots of parts on ebay. 900rr - lots of parts available.... real smooth power.....proven stunt bike by more than 1/2 of the stunters today..... downfall is... not fuel injected.... dies while on the 12 bar..... stock rear brakes are not very powerfull.... GSXR750 - garbage i owned one for 2 years...beat the hell out of it and it literaly fell apart every chance it had... gsxrs blow the motors without the stuntex.com oil pick up.....and sometimes even with it .... gsxrs blow motors, crack frames, weak subframes, weak front rims, steering dampener mount brakes off for no reason, ram air tubes brake and fall out....but there are lots of parts available on ebay.. - 929 - good all around bike. but not lots of parts on ebay......and the idle jumps up and down 4 some reason. and heavy 954 - weelll ?? i just didnt like the riding position and the rear plastic kinda pushed into the side of my leg. ........ and it was real touchy on the gas... still good ...but not 4 me

I think they hold up really well to punishment. The balance point is easy to hit but that may just be me. Other than that long *** exhaust that almost everyone has to cut off stunt bikes, it is great.

Hondas are bullet proof and the F4i has a more upright seating position. It also has a lower BP than other bikes. It's a comfy bike to play around on. I wish I had never sold mine. Someone sell me one quick!

2005 ninja 636 beats the crap out of my f4i for stunts. more power, better balance, and wont bog down like hondas do at idle. actually any 636 will be better. f4i is the next best thing though. wont starve for oil and like everyone said there are a ton of parts and many honda parts are interchangable. very reliable and easy to learn on.

Ninja 636 fall appart and are expensive to repair. The frames are very weak around the neck. Hondas are much better. Johnny

my f4i used to bog at idle all the time until i did the idle mod, just adding another idle cable to throttle bodies. and now it pulls great. also u can do an air mod and from what i hear it actually makes it pull a lot better than a 636 but havent tried that. the good thing about kawis is that they look much nicer

Kawis are fragile man! Great bike no doubt but F4i's are more comfortable imo! The air mod helps. Mybuddies did it to there bikeslast weekend.
