Wheel spin during Wheelie
Hey guys,
I have started learning wheelies in the past month or 2.
Havent been able to ride them out fo rmore then 30-40ft as my ***** still shrivel up once I hit balance point.
But my question is that a couple times now I have tried to clutch it up in 1st my rear tire has done a slight burn out as it comes up and shifts the bike slightly.
The only thing I can think of is that it is at too high of an rpm when I slip the clutch?
I have newer PP ct2's with maybe 2000km (1250 mi) on them.

when your starting your wheelie are you starting out right when you start riding. I know my friend when he did wheelies he had to make sure his tires were warm so that they gripped the road. If your tires are cold they are going to slip no matter what you do. Unless you completely re-gear the crap out of the bike and all you need to do to do a wheelie is just thottle into it.

I am not into wheelie's anymore but I can tell you I have ridden those tires many times before and have never been a fan of them during aggressive riding. I think it is more the the tire then anything else. The only time I could ever get them to hook good was to get them super hot and on extremely hot days.

Maybe I should drop that a bit and it will cath a bit better?
