Suspension for a wheelie

Ive been practicin wheelies and am gettin good at ridin it out using the throttle. I still need practice wit the brake and gettin it to balance point but im not gonna b impatiant wit it. Though im gettin good at ridin it out it still comes down hard every once in a while. I dont wana brake my forks or mess up the suspension at all so i was wonderin if there is a better setup on the bike to use. I have the 05 cbr1k

just give it more gas before you land, takes pratice, accelerate during the landing, make sure you leave yourself room to do that. I never come down hard anymore, unless something goes wrong (strong wind, deer, cat, ect)
I'm using stock suspension, I road with a guy today using stock suspension too, he road a wheelies for a few miles no problems.

the stock suspension is fine. Just give it gas when bringing it down so it is smoother
