Starting off slow
Well I have been doing wheelies for a while and I pretty well have it down. Highways arent much of a challenge anymore because I can pull it to the balance point repeatedly over and over and over again........
Anyways, I just recently tried to do some slow ones in first gear clutching it up at about 15-20 mph and I pull it up pretty good but as I try to get it to the balance point the bike tends to sway from side to side almost violently every single time I tried.
I lowered the tire pressure in the back tire but i dont know exactly how low because I didnt have a pressure guage I just let out some and felt the tire until I felt it was good.
I was just wondering if anyone has this same problem with the swaying and if I can get some pointers on this.

when i first started i ran probably close to 15 lbs. in the rear.
it helps keep that side-to-side movement to a minimum. that way you can focus on being smoooooooth with the throttle. once you got them down real well, up the pressure in the back. it'll be wobbly but its because you haven't really developed your side-to-side balance.
hope that helps...

+1 for what ERR said. pick up a 99 cent gauge from the store. when i was learing i was running about 8 to 10psi. it helped my side to side balance a lot. now i run 25psi. you dont need to drop your air as low as i did. just practice and you'll get it.
