if i put my side plastics on, can they get damaged?

 

on the sides where your upper connects will rash. also, fairings will usually bottom out when stalling out or comming down hard.

 

how much of the top rashes? (im planning to cut it a little of it)
also...watta u mean by "bottom out"?

 

usually just the top edge near the top bolt near the upper. are you running 3/4 fairings? i would say trim em up a bit. IMO they look cleaner trimmed down. the bottom of the fairings scrape the ground when you stall out or land hard. nothing major. post pics when ur done! im thinking of goin 3/4 for the summer!

 

ive got my sides still i might paint the sides the tank and umm whats left of the tail lol ill post pix if i do, but we just super reienforced my cage and i dont think i feel like taking that **** off any time soon

dude if u really wanna stunt who gives a flying **** what your fairings look like, if i put my **** on, im gonna sand them bitches down and spray paint some ridiculous paint scheme on it every time i get bored, gonna start with ghetto urban camo and make my wait to neon yellow lol

 

i just installed a 905 on my 05 the other day and i have my stock plastics still on. I dont really know exactly what you mean by bottoming out when you land hard. i havnt seemed to have any trouble but mabye im just a fukn retard. anyway it would be chill if someone could explain or show me picks of how ur setups look with the 905 thanks

thats kinda why i didn't care about the color when i bought it....but im still curious as to how its gonna look...don't want it to look TOO ghetto.

and its not strictly a stunt bike, its my only commuter also (no car or second bike)....can't wait till i can afford a 2nd street bike. unlike some ^^ ppl, i get ticket(s) when a cop pulls me over.
