anywho, you may not be able to pick it up while on the tank but you can always pick it up then transition to the tank, once you get good, unlike me

RE: problems popping it up
JZ is right I have a 94 FZr1000 and I couldn't get it off the ground for the life of me and wrote it off for being to heavy and old. I ran across a set of ***** at Walmart (isle 9 by the way) it was me I was just to scared at the time to pop the clutch at the higher rpms to make it come up. After enough practice I was holding the wheelie up for a long time(never did hit BP). now I have the 929RR and I can't keep it down (addicted)

I had a 89 cbr 600f you could do wheelies in first but not in second, no matter how hard you tried. Now one in mint condition with every thing at max condition maybe you could do something but A bike that has been ridden good luck, the clutch will just slip. I still wanna see a video ( cant tell what gear they are in withpictures ) of a cbr 600f rippin a second gear wheelie. you find one post it
good luck...
I do know what you are saying because I can rip wheelies on a 86 nighthawk, but it would just be way easier to get a newer bike.
