powering up vs. power wheelie
ok damnit im sick of seeing people talk **** about power wheelies just because they clutch up. clutching up does NOT automaticly disqualify what you are doing from a power wheelie. powering up and doing a power wheelie are not the same thing, if you are accelerating and using the power of the bike ie: more and more gas, shifting gears to keep it up, you my friend are doing a power wheelie.

RE: powering up vs. power wheelie
I power my wheelies up. the higher i go, the longer the wheelie stays there at a decent mph! sometime it will hit rev limiter, but i have to learn to shift.
I like power wheelies because that is how i learned. I have a lot of stunt guys tell me to clutch it up, but Y????
I like them now. eventually i might want to learn to clutch but you have to take baby steps.
The guys on the street or "squids" will sometimes turn it into a abortion debate. If you are learning, like me then you have to be comfortable in what you are doing! Great post JZ! you are 100 percent correct brother!

clutched wheelies are ALOT more predictable. learn clutch, ull thank urself later.
but Y????
i almost looped my gixxer doing a powerwheele i guess when it was coming up just before the bp it hit the powerband and the bike almost looped
also clutching feels so much smoother
