Default Honda CBR600 F4i...

...I have been riding for a while now, and I have yet to learn the art of "the wheelie". I know there are ALOT of things I can read, but that is what has been confusing me (information overload).
I know there is a "power wheelie" and a "clutch whellie".

QUESTIONS:
1.Why do riders look down on the power wheelie?
2. Can the F4i do a power wheelie?...if so, how?
3. How did you first learn?
4. Are stand-up wheelies easier?
Withmy first F4i my buddy said he "tightened the throttle", and as I drove it back from his dealership going about 20 MPH I slammed on the gas in 1st gear. The front end got up, I rolled off my throttle and slammed my nuts into the tank. I NEVER tried again.
Since then I bought another '01 F4i (the first one I had to sell to buy an engagement ring). I'M REALLY WANTING TO LEARN HOW TO WHEELIE NOW. I've got over 4,000 miles on the bike since September.
Can anyone pleasehelp?
Thanks in advance.

And that's why the power wheelie is a no-no.[:@]

Can anyone give me specifics? Like at what rpm do you start to power wheelie? What gear and what rpm ar you in when you "drop" the clutch ("drop" means just letting go of a compressed clutch?

Oh, and why do you hit your family jewls with a power wheelie and not clutch wheelies?

you can hit them with either. You just have to let the bike down slower. Just roll off the throttle to let it down, dont slam on the rear brake (unless you are about to roll it too far back). A lot of people dont like power wheelies because they can be unstable. If you hit your powerband while in a wheelie, it can kick you back too far. Also most power wheelies are in first gear, and first gear wheelies are touchy, so people dont like them.

everyone of those questions has been answered, in other "how do i wheelie" threads

power wheelies are for squids, no other way around it.

Accelerate to about 6k rpm, roll of throttle and roll back to WOT, watch the end come up. Its a squid thing like he said lol. Do a little ones at first so u know how they feel.

listen to your engine. stop worrying about what rpm you need to reach.

learn with your clutch.

+1 trillion, listen to Err, i was once told by a friend that "its more of a feeling, not an exact science" cover your guages, or take them off completely, because if you go by the rpms, when you change sprockets, youre gonna be way off
