pulled the wheel up for the first time today. quite a few guys I ride with seem like wheelie pro's. I know I'm pretty much a noob, only having the bike for 3 months now and I've only put about 3,200 miles on the bike, but I really want to learn to do a sit down wheelie. I've listened to how pretty much every one does it on a 600 and it was just the same as in this article. I pulled out of my road on to the main city street and just decided that instant i was going to get the wheel off the ground! lol. so I brought it up to about 9k fairly quickly, let of for a second and blipped on the throttle. The front wheel came off the ground maybe 4 inches or so I am guessing. I know it isn't much but it sure was a rush bc I could definitely tell that it was off the ground. After I came down I must have applied more pressure to my throttle hand bc the handle bars straightened out after landing. I really want to learn but now I'm kinda worried I'm going to keep applying to much pressure on my throttle hand and I'm going to mess up or wreck.
