For a beginner on an F4i, trying to learn everythng i can about safer riding techniques for the street. I don't give a damn about what anyone says about F4i as a beginner bike, i'm not hearing it, and i'm not starting a flamer thread.

What book would be better suited for me?

I have all three of the 'riding bibles. Those 2 and Twist of the Wrist (1 & 2). I found TotW to be patronizing at times, like having a glossary and definitions for the most basic words. Total Control got too complicated at times instead.

Sport Riding Techniques is my favorite. The illustrations are clear, the explanations just right to properly absorb the material imo.

Whatever, the F4i is an awesome beginner bike! Very forgiving.

Anyways, get both books.

Total control is an well written book. Haven't had a chance to read Nick's book yet (I just heard about it). However, the man is a serious player and excellent writer, so I'm anticipating that it will be informative and a fun read, as well.

Since reading is my most expensive vice (even compared to motorcycles), I'm biased when I recommend getting BOTH and picking up a copy of "Twist of the Wrist", as well.
