First lay over ha.

Well I was having a good day of riding all day and was on my way to my folks house for dinner and I put my bike down for the first time.at a crazy 1mph in the driveway I could not help but crack up as I just sat there with my bike on me no one was around so I got my bike up as soon as I could and put it back out in the road. My knee hurts and I cut my knuckle and bike looks ok still.

lol better at 1mph than at 100 :D

Why did it drop? Turned wheel?

Sounds like you lucked out!
At least it didn't mess you or the bike up too bad.

I dropped my KLR in a gas station parking lot once. I got my shoe caught on a bungee strap on the back while throwing my leg over.
Imagine grabbing a duck by one wing..... and it's all flapping around trying to get away and stuff.... and then it throws you to the pavement. lol
That's about what it looked like. :D

Ya man, you got pretty lucky.

Mine wasn't to bad but a little worse than yours.
First day I had the bike I picked it up about 70 miles away in the town my parents and brother live in, we were going to throw it in my truck (lifted 2000 dodge), my brother and his buddies were going to come with me back to Tucson to drop off the bike, and then they drive the truck back (and I would drive his Jeep).
Well we didn't get to Tucson until about 9pm so it was pitch black and the only place I knew of where we could unload was some dirt mounds by the wash, well we had gotten it unloaded fine, I rode it up and down a couple dirt hills fine (that route was not by choice), just about to get on the road and there was a little bit of gravel that I didn't think much of because the dirt seemed worse.
Guess what, front tire washed out and I couldn't save her, bye bye mirror. Haha I just stood there and laughed until my brother got over to me and they helped me pick it back up and get on the road.
It was fun.

I won't even mention any of my numerous motocross crashes though.

I know one thing I sure want some boots now I smashed my foot pretty good. And it's nice to hear that I'm not the only one who had a little fall at least once.
