Underbelly for f2

Hey guys, I'm looking for a sweet underbelly fairing that will mount relatively easily on my 91 f2. That and a nice tail kit, preferably with a passenger seat although not mandatory I guess (apologies to my wife). I'm constantly browsing (drooling) the web but if anyone knows of a good deal or a place to start looking let me know, any and all advice appreciated.

Also, any advice on fitment? That seems to be my main issue, and being naturally crafty but not having much fabrication experience, I find myself asking questions like, "What fiberglass goo should I use?"; "Will this totally not fit at all or will it be close enough that I could theoretically build a practical bracket with moderate ease?"; "What is the actual name for fiberglass goop?"

Stuff like that. I would appreciate your expert opinions.

Thanks

The goop is fiberglass resin and fiberglass strand mat or fiberglass cloth. The resin comes in two parts. You mix the two parts together and it starts the chemical reaction that makes it hard. You can buy the resin and fiberglass mat at Home Depot, Lowes, or many auto parts stores. The resins come in different qualities but I'm to dumb to know the difference so I just buy the cheapest I can find and it seems to work.

For the tail I would look at the tail conversion threads on the forum and see what others have done to get a baseline of what is possible and how much work it will take.

I like to browse through the stuff on this site for inspiration.
Motorcycle fairings, bodywork, fairing, seat, lower, fender, race tail, race body, rear hugger, fuel tank, air box, custom fairing and cafe racer;.

This seller seems to have a lot of belly pans for relatively cheap that you could potentially modify to fit.

As far as fitment... everything fits it is just a question of how ambitious you are. In my mind even if I screw it up I'm only out a some money and I've gained some knowledge of what not to do at least.

A while back my brother posted these in my build thread they give you the basics:

Nice deal on that underbelly! You need to post some pics once you have it on as well as some progress shots of the tail once you get started on that.

Or you can go to eBay and search for a universal bellypan. I need one for mine and I stumbled upon a build and the guy got his from ebay and it looked great! It oats about $50 shipped and you can go to walmart or home depot and get some brackets to fit for about 5 bucks
