Tarting up my fireblade
So...
it's a '93, 40k miles... handles like a dream, and ridiculously fast. love it. only cost £1200, and has loads of goodies on it! bought it back in January and i'm still getting used to it. it's a massive change from my CBR600... http://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.ne...20ac707993ffc5 http://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.ne...30e484d8574422 http://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.ne...3529a492dc167e http://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.ne...8928610640c2fc http://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.ne...75f14b5855b68f Since doing the initial work, i've changed the sprockets & chain, and given it a service... and a clean. I've went and bought a ducati 918 tail unit for it too! The subframe has been made up to fit the blade, and it's adjustable too! http://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.ne...86827101_n.jpg And a tarty pic. http://fbcdn-sphotos-a-a.akamaihd.ne...22397975_n.jpg So here's the tail unit all painted up, ready to fit. Next up is welding together a battery box and something to hold the plate... http://cdn.bikechatforums.com/files/...51145779_n.jpg http://cdn.bikechatforums.com/files/...38234393_n.jpg Bought some steel plate to weld something up so i'll get on that at the weekend then fit the bloody thing. |
