radiator and overflow tank

Hey, building my f2 fighter and had 2 questions.

1. Has anyone found a radiator that not as wide as the stock one so it doesnt hang out. Or has anyone used dirt bike radiators with a right and left side.

2. What are you guys using for overflow tanks, if you get rid of the stock tank. I have seen drink bottles on some bikes and if you have one can you post pics of what you did.

Thanks, I have learned alot from this site, will try and take pictures of my bike and make a build thread.

i had a beer can for the longest time as my overflow. i don't have any pics on the computer i'm on right now though. it's a pretty easy concept, and you can use just about anything you want

and as far as radiators, you can mount ANY radiator you want as long as it fits in between the wheels and exhaust (or wherever you want to mount it). you'll just have to build an adapter plate to mount it. and as far as dimensions, i'm sure you can find some on the net... of if you had a few radiators in mind (and they're on ebay), i'm sure the seller would measure them for you. i'm planning on running a 1krr radiator on my 954 fighter.

you may have to move the sensor to somewhere else too, but i've seen people mount them into the coolant lines... i'm just not sure where it's at on the f3

i kept the degas/overflow tank in the stock location on my build. i am a big fan of trying to keep the bike looking "clean" and not having tons of things hanging out. like cornice said you can pretty much use whatever you want for the radiator just make sure it will drop a similar temp across it (dont go to small).

Thanks for the responses, Since its going from fully faired to naked I think I can go down in size on my radiator with no issues. I am not going way small just 2-3 inches smaller on the width so its not sticking out as much.
