Default help on 2001 f4i fighter

I just started on my project and quickly discovered that I dont like the gap between the gas tank and the frame where the intake used to be. Any ideas on what i should do to eliminate that. Also taking suggestion on a new tail for the bike

Your picture doesn't work (at least for me) but I mean that can be handled in a ton of ways. I didn't like the area under the seat on my bike, so I took the old fairings, heated them up with a propane torch until I could shape them, and then put them on the bike and molded them to the right shape. But considering where the gap is on your bike, you might have to get more creative than I did.

there are probably some intake covers that bolt up like the stock but are made to look good on naked bikes. i looked into some for the 954 (same thing essentially), but decided against it. its either that (probably the easiest), or you can get good with metal fab and physically alter the tank.

as far as tails, newer gen of r6 is a tidy and small tail, no junk in the trunk.

o.... and maybe pull the fender off there and see how that looks. i took mine off to sell it, but i ended up lovin' the look of it. it makes the bike look a lil more pissed off and mean.
