After I tore it down. I re-wired the entire bike. I then started buying parts. Here is how it sat a month or so ago.Attachment 38715

I decided I wanted to go a different route with the build. So I started researching. I soon decided that I loved the street fighter look. Here is a few photos of how it sits todayAttachment 38714

Still alot left to do. Still have to tear down front end replace brakes, rotors and front tire. Gauge system ordered just waiting for arrival and to be installed. Rear brake assembly to be tore down to replace brakes and rotors. Carbs to be rebuilt and spark plugs to be replaced, Im getting a tinging/rattling sound from front end of motor and I think ive narrowed it down to loose spark plug!

Also thinking about replacing tail with newer mod but unsure of what I want to do yet. Any suggestions?

99-00 cbr600f4 tail. you can get the aluminum subframe and chop your complete back off. weld your four bolt brackets and decide your perfect angle. I priced everything for my conversion, you'd be around $250(subframe, tail fairing, seat, and tail light. that's how I'm going to do my 87 cbr1000f fighter;) just a suggestion. or possibly zx10r rear conversion..
