a torch, tin snips, channel locks, and like like 15 min. later it's mocked up

rivet the rings and badge on tomorrow (4/23)...went from 17.5" pipe to a 10"

the consesus i got when i went headlight hunting is that the ebay 'streetfighter/fly screens' are usually you get what you pay for. the bulbs are hard to find to replace, i've heard of the housing melting when some tried using better easier located bulbs.
i had one given to me but opted to get a 7" headlight from aztec.com it cost more but you get a better quality product. plus i opted to buy my mounting brackets at the same time and it was cake getting it on

Th lights sold by aztec r pricey but they r plug n play. I made my own headlight from a 6" off road light. Sucker lights up th road with th bright white bulb I put on. I've heard nothing but bad things about th streetfighter lights off of eBay.

If u do plan on making ur own, th brackets are th hardest thing to fabricate.

agree with crazie929, i went the aztec route in big part too easy of mounting. sounds silly a lil bit but it gave me more time to focus on the other hair tearing aspects of the bike lol

Here's what I did:

1. Got a 6" off road headlight with an H1 sealed beam.
2. Removed th H1 sealed beam.
3. Replaced it with a 5.75" H4 semi-sealed beam.
4. Put in a hyper white xenon H4 bulb.

Th bulb is 55w lo and 60w high. It was a really easy to swap out.

Amazon.com: Pilot Performance Lighting PL-1058M Pilot 5" x 2" Rectangular Driving Light w/ 7 Color L.E.D. Accent Light: Automotive

55w each, there's a few others but my god it's only $30
