1993 900rr SC28 Fighter Build
 

I'm starting my build thread today on my 1993 CBR900rr basket case that has seen better days! It has a build date of 3/92.

It came to me through a partial trade plus cash for a commercial truck I was selling. The guy that showed up at my door with it had no clue what he had just that he had the title, a running bike and plenty of spare donor parts from a 600f2 that he got with it.

Tank is tore up so I will be needing a new donor quickly.

Bear with me as I collect information and pictures to start posting more.

I immediately started to research the front forks as it has the 17" front and found it to be from the 600f2 donor bike. He had the incorrect triple bearings installed so I started with purchasing a complete used set for a 900rr on ebay as the parts list for a 600f2 and 900rr show the bearings as being the same. Now it has the front forks back on and they feel amazing.
