Did a little work last night on it, taking advantage of this long weekend. Going to do sort of a "How To" write up to track it.
I decided to do the infamous Rear Shock Reservoir can cover, and it was between these two to use.
Decided on the Red Bull can, Its just slightly bigger than the reservoir.
Just a poser shot inside, I take alot of pictures if you haven't noticed yet.
The reservoir is ~4" from end to end, with the **** protruding a big on the end, and then the hose and connections on the front end.
I decided I wanted to keep the can intact, so I drilled out the bottom to drain it.
I used a hole saw to cut out the bottom, but it didnt turn out quite like I hoped
So I pulled out my dremel and cut away along the ridge on the bottom of the can.
Now the can will be bigger around than the reservoir, which is why most people cut the backside of the can and just wrap it. I used some velcro strips I had laying around to make up that space, and made a nice snug fit.
Mounted up
Then I had some extra LED strips laying around from my truck, and I decided to see how they look. Squidtastic, I know, but I dont roll around with them on. Just parking lot show.
Just one strip under the swingarm.
I dont have alot of plastic on mine so I had to route the wires inside and hide the strips. Took some trial and error but found some good places.
Popped on the new Moose Racing headlight after I cut down the top. It wont fit right.
Now to find out what I wanna do about the front, since I dont have fairings to mount more strips to. Any ideas?

Ahh, yeah, that's the problem with projectors. I actually liked the idea - and I got the Infinity headlight for $20 (two projectors, lenses, wiring, plugs, weatherproofed, really good quality everything) but it didn't matter which way I put them on there - They looked like they were a foot out in the front of the bike!
You should be able to build some sort of bracket out of some aluminum stock and a hack saw with a vise.
Good luck with it. It looked pretty good on there the way you had it. Plus, a projector is going to allow you to see a lot more at night.

nice bike, i like your taste in headlights haha. When i got my polisport halo it was between the halo and the moose species that you picked up. The halo is ok but the stock bulb is angled about 45 degrees so once you switch the bulb with a normal straight one visibility goes to ****. you can adjust it somewhat but not enough. I have never seen the angled bulbs for sale separately either. I plan on mounting a projector inside it do i can correct the bulb angle issue but im torn between that or just getting a different headlight like a mt03 or a aprilia shiver light.
