Shame on you spicyminx :) It's a BIG, THICK manual, 'cause it has the 600 and 1000 in it. |

Now to just take out the engine, drill out that damn old broken temp senor, retap for new one and weld the tiny crack up on the top of the head. why does it sound easier than I know it is going to be.
|
lol good luck with that engine.. I always kinda feel nervous about it because I only have a 1 1/2ton floor jack and it's hard to pull the engine, keep it from tipping over, and not cracking off one of the 'fins' from the oil pan. Word of advice, use centerstand or something that keeps the bike upright (I use engine hoist).. Sitting on the side stand would make it hell to take out bolts and pull the engine down smoothly. If you can jack something to hold the engine stable, it's easier to literally pick the frame off the engine instead of pulling engine from frame. (At least to me it is)

I have the bike on stands right now. Now sure how my buddy wants to remove it, hopefully he has something being a mechanic and all.

Shadow, you should sticky this for future purposes!:icon_razz:

Nah then I couldn't have any fun !
Ask your section Mod if he thinks it should be, he can sticky it. :) |

I saw someone linked to mine (http://dubemail.com/CBR600-F3-Specs.php). Speaking of the manual, I had it linked to a copy I posted on Scribd, and just a few days ago, I got an email that it had been taken down for copyright violation. Looked up who filed the complaint and it seems it is a law firm that represents Honda :icon_eek:... Didn't think they still cared.
Anyways, I uploaded another copy (here). Mine's smaller :( |
I know, "damn noobs bumping old threads *sigh" lol. I can't seem to get any ofthe links to get me to a fsm that I can download for the f3. Can someone PM me the file or something? Thanks
