Wow! First track day and a new appreciation
Just got home today from my firsttrack day. It was a 2 day event at Calabogie Motorsports , a beautiful new facility cut right out of the wilderness in nothern Ontario.What a rush! This was oneof my most thrilling experiences and I'm totally hooked. Already planning another in 3 weeks.
It only takes one session on the track to make one appreciate how dangerous careless riding on the street really is. People on these forums are always saying take it to the track...........I've always thought that to be good advice , but after seeing four riders walk away from high speed crashes , it's clear how right they are. I'm not trying to sound self-righteous. I'm sure I'll still "bend" the rules here and there , but none of us need take unnecessary chances. Anyway, enough of that, here's some pics.

The track had their own photographers. You just told them your number before you left and you could buy a disk for 50$. Mine had over 30 pics some were paddock shots though.

Seeing pics like those makes me want to do a track day more and more. I wish leathers werent so damn expensive, a well as trailers lol. We'll see what tax time brings, should be a decent year, and just gotta hope for a promotion. Although I'd also love to paint my bike with that color scheme. Damn, too many decisions and too little money!! [:@]
