I hope you used hi heat paint, Tex Skywalker..........
You have lots of rocks where you live ?
Some pipe dents I see.......hmmmmmmmmmmm
For future reference there's some stuff called Autosol for brightening up metalwork - used with a buff in an electric drill and you can polish almost anything to a high shine.....

We're all like proud expectant fathers here, (esp me) so lots more pics as you go....
If you check my siggy, and go to the Blackbears website, you can download the workshop manual, which'll make the carb stripping a bit easier !.
Roll on Thursday !............

Grats man, keep up the good work. If i may, a piece of advice tho. You dont really want to paint the pipes where they will be slipping together, or overlapping. It will make the fit a pain, and can leak later when some of the finish burns off.

thanks for the advice TK, i noticied that when i went to do the inital fitment this afternoon.

I messed it up bad and had to repaint it, im kicking myself at the moment b/c i tried to rush things and move before the paint was dry, and i ordered exhaust gaskets when i didnt need them, their copper seals, i ordered the gaskets before i took the headers off, so ill just use the old ones to bolt her up and when the new ones get here ill go ahead and replace them, all seem to be in good shape but one and i pulled it off today to take a pic, ill post it up tomm.
