Default A wicked deer video

I used to have a Katana 750 (was my first bike, lol, a heavy bitch that couldnt handle well... great to learn on) and so i still visit Katriders.com. A guy there had this encounter with a deer on his fz6.

The ground was all wet too. Funny how the gauges went out right when it hit.

Props to him for awsome riding, he did not freak out and drop the bike on impact he just stayed staight and calm until the bike settled down and rolled through it. He should be glad there was not an oncoming car to swerve and kill him.

Yeah i think my reaction would have been about the same, yelling expletives and what not. Glad to see he didn't lose the bike. I've had a few deers (joke) run out in front of me while riding home at night. It makes your heart pump a little faster and makes you ride a little slower. If i do hit one i'm gonna slap his dead *** on my backseat and eat him somehow. Or maybe not...

I would agree and I'm glad the rider is alright. And how did the deer just run away? It may have been parts from the bike but it looks like little bit of the deer flew across the windshield.

That was a piece of the deer. The fairing basically scalped the deers back and took a big slice of flesh out, I think that is what you see fly across his wind screen at first I thought the bike had severed the deers front leg off. The deer may have ran off but that in no ways says the deer will survive this accident. It probably ran off in the woods and died of shock.
