first attempt at action shots with the camera. I got it for christmas, thought id check it out.

speed your shutter speed up a bit and youll get some clearer shots. Nice pics though!

Nice pictures, to get the sharper shot pan the camera with the bike ... this will keep the bike in focus and blur the background which will give it a sensation of movement or speed :-)

good idea! this is the first time ive approached moving pics of a motorcycle. I used to do alot of car show pics and pics of my v8 s10 , before i crossed over to the dark side....

thats alittle bit of my OLD photography. I put the camera down for about 3 years, and am attempting to get back at it.

Some great pictures there :-) ... for the motionshots you can just practise with some moving cars and see how sharp you can get them, play with shutter speeds to desired effect etc ... 500th - 1000th is pretty good for freezing most things if you have enough light to use these speeds but I find I prefer a little background blur to emphasise motion so slow the shutter down a bit and then move the camera as you take the shot ... best way is to already be panning then press the shutter as you pan ... a lot of modern digital camera have a one press take multi shot function ... I think mine is 9 shots or something, they do this in rapid fire and then you can pick the best :-)
