Cool Well - Finally got that CRASH out of the way.

Luckily it was on a track in a controlled situation.

Was on my 4th session of the day 1st after lunch - Hour and a half break on the track. Cooled tires / cooled track. Not my best line = lowside.

I got back out on the track for the next session.

jump to the 28 second mark of the second video for the actual crash. Figured i'd show the start - since its kind of amusing.... didn't even make it one turn that run. hah. Other video is the previous run.

I'll add my post crash run after this. Luckily it didn't shake me too badly at all.

Gear held up dynomite. Bike was fine - muddy as all hell. I ended up in some serious nasty dirty muck, but had a few buds there who helped me clean it up etc.

All in all, was a pretty "ideal" crash. Would have been better without the mud, but I won't complain too much.

Hmm... that last angle looked familiar Least you didn't crack the frame or anything utterly ridiculous like me. How's the gear looking?

1/4 inch scuff / tear on my right shoulder front somehow. Super minor. I did do a little roll right as I jumped to my feet to run off the track.

The back / legs of the suit don't look like anything happened at all, oddly enough. lettering on the right forearm has some slight "peel" if you look at it closely.

Minor knick on my helmet, from a scrape, not an impact during the roll. I got some high gloss touch up paint to take care of that.

Boots are fine. Gloves have a small tear in the left middle finger side - I'll replace the gloves since they aren't very expensive. Everything else is A'ok.

Backprotector looks untouched (Tryonic 3.7)

Damn man, glad you came out of it alright. Any damage to the bike? Turn 1 and 10 were definitely the sketchiest since you carry so much speed into them.

Looks like tire warmers are next on the shopping list?

Best way to crash if you're ever going to, if you think about it. Cool videos

Yeah Mike - I think so. Certainly can't hurt, relatively cheap insurance. I hate when people blame "cold tires" but I really think that's what got me. That and I should have taken it a bit easier the first two laps out of the gate after the break.

Aken - thats what I was thinking too. Bike is 99% fine. Just gotta take the fairings off and do a nice cleaning. And i'm 99% fine too.

Hah, that's right Cobra!

Its a track only bike, so not even registered, or insured. Its a race only frame too.

Luckily however, it was all very minor damage. I need to bend the rear break pedal a little back into place (not that I use it anyways out there). And I need to clean the bike up a little better from the mud.

I'll give it a once over once I got the fairings off, but I'm 99% sure we had no real damage.

She never was a beauty queen, and certainly isn't now haha, but she has some guts!
