Default Welcome to 1999

Wow, Time flys when you're having fun. It's been that long ago since i got up from my bed, get ready, get my bike and spend all day in a closed parking lot practicing and leaning new things on my bike.

It makes me feel so old to see new riders trying to do a wheelie for the first time or when someone comment that they can't do a rolling burnout but, here are the pictures i found on a CD that my wife (girlfriend at the time) gave me the other day.

Look at that....a full set of hair

wheelie standing on the passenger pegs (what the hell was i thinkg????)

Endo with my feet on the passenger pegs

HEY MR. , HOW DO YOU BURN YOUR TIRE WHILE STANDING STILL?

Hate to say it, but, I can't do a wheelie, and, the only time I've smoked the tires was on accident. But, i've been riding for over a year, and, love to flick it into the corners. I've never had the want to learn to stunt.

Good stuff. Dont feel bad, I cant do one either (the bike still scares the **** out of me).I`ve allways an appreciation for the older stlyes of sportbikes. Call me weird but the way I see it is that any joe blow can go out and get a new r1 gxr or whatever but it takes someone with a real connection with motorcycles, can still love and admire the bikes of the yeaster-years. Anyone else feel the same???[&:]
