He's totally in the right, but that doesn't mean it's a good idea.

SUV owner will probably try to move the bike, not realize how heavy it is and then tip it over.... but funny to mess with him/her

I do like the picture though. I would be waiting for the driver of the car to come out though to see what they would do to try and move it.

 

I would be worried about the driver trying to move the bike or coming from the front of the truck and not seeing it and backing over it.
I bet that is why he took the picture.

I have done this to a couple cars in my truck that park there beamers and stuff in 2 parking spots, I squeeze the truck within inches from there drivers door and block them so if they want to get in they have to climb through the passenger seat and into the drivers. I will take the license plate down in case I come back to a big scrap on my truck.
I feel it teaches them a lesson, Just because you bought an expensive car doesnt give you the right to take 2 spots or spots designated to others.
