Zoom! I haven't put my GoPro in that position because my windscreen isn't see-through either. I don't think watching gauges move is a worth-while video for myself. Good place to test, though!

To get rid of the buzzing sound, put a piece of electrical tape over the mic on the camera. Also put a strip or two on the sticky mount, the little raised part in the middle. It will make the clip really hard to slide on and off but it is doable and there is no buzzing.

As far as the audio is concerned, I'd be happy with that. So far my Gopro video has been completely useless because all you can hear is the wind. I've mounted on the helmet, on the fairing, and on the tank and all I get is wind noise after 30 mph. I've tried the tape fix, the sock fix, and I'm about ready to buy a Windcutter or Micover.
