Unfortunately I missed the heavy snow we had in early February
..but I have these from the previous year when we had a light covering ...

The approach to the top lock at Bunbury ...

The view from the bridge by my cottage ...

Zoomed in a bit :-)

The family of swans we have living with us by the lock :-)

Beautiful pics Jules!! I'd love to see your canals with a "good" amount of snow sometime.

That just looks awesome! Where do you live? Looks so nostalgic...

It has that appearance of creepiness that attracts me. The fog, the mold, all the green among the leafless trees. AWESOME!

You can feel the calmness & tranquility just from looking at them ~ nice pictures. It's so dry here in CO, that looks so inviting.

thank you :-) ..it truly is a beautiful and peaceful place here, it's another world and far from the madness of the modern world ... this place hasn't changed in hundreds of years ... these canals were dug out in the late 1700s and now are used for mainly leisure ... it's a quiet life but 15-20 minutes in the car has me in the hustle and bustle of the City of Chester :-)
