Surprisingly, this thread is probably the shortest and least amount of pictures of any ride report I've posted! I just didn't take that many, for whatever reason. But as many know, I rode up to Asheville, NC this past weekend for a job interview and to get a place to live lined up. After having a fantastic interview and getting the job, I decided to treat myself to something special and take the scenic route home instead of boring interstate like I took up there several days earlier.

So I decided to take 276 (awesome road) to the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway from Brevard, NC where I ate lunch, almost all the way back to GA. It was getting late in the day and would be getting dark soon, so I had to jump off the BRP and take 19 down to 441 north of Franklin, and take that home. What an absolutely beautiful day for a ride though! It was only about 70 degrees and absolutely gorgeous! Just make sure you fill up with gas right before you get on the BRP (glad I did!), cuz there is nooooooooooooowhere to stop and fill up!





There were TONS of overlooks!

I swear to god.... it was like that when I got there, I didn't do a thing!




That's all the pics I got. Told ya it would be a short one! I wanted to get more.... there were tons and tons and tons of phenomenal photo opportunities, but it was getting late in the day and I had to get home (don't like being in the mountains after dark). I'll be going back though when I have more time cuz there were alot of things I didn't get pics of.... waterfalls, more tunnels, etc. Still had a great time though... made for a nice relaxing ride

Thanks!! New job is as a Ford diesel technician.... same thing I was doing here in GA before I got laid off back in Nov
