Weren't a lot of those miles from hardcore track riding?

Mine came with a lifetime engine warranty. Although i don't have near 40k miles I might eventually get there. I plan on keeping it for years but I hope it never turns into an oil burner. If it does I should be covered.

I didn't abuse the bike at the track, and these bikes are built for that kind of riding. There's no excuse for the problems that so many people are having with their bikes burning oil. My last 600RR had more miles and got ridden harder...it never burned a drop.
