Wish there were more commercials like that in the US, perhaps include drivers who are constantly on cellphones as well. Whether these adds are actually effective or not, who knows... but I think it's better to inform people than to simply ignore it. The video is very nicely done, how it all seems to blend in together; pretty cool.

Unfortunately the death toll for Bike riders is very high here in Aussie, these type off adds have been running for years, hence the term "Temporary Aussie" they call you when you get your Bike Licence.Yup drivers with Mobile phones should be AVOIDED at any cost!!!
Well maybe the Aussies think the ads are "How To's."

Yer , good stats mate ....but what I meant was exactly what I said ...
" compared with what " 43 killed on bikes in 2008 ain't good for those 43 that's for sure ...but om sure that more were killed crossing the roads in Aus than 43 if yu get my drift ...
I understand that as a percentage of the total road deaths that 43 is high , but really mate .... I have more of a statistical chance of getting killed on site than on my CBR .... that is what I meant ...

“Per vehicle mile traveled, motorcyclists are about 37 times more likely than passenger car occupants to die in a traffic crash.”
Ouch.
Here's where I got that. It's the US statistics from the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic whatever):

There are a bunch of interesting issues covered. 1 in 4 had no license. Helmets. Booze. Kind of sounds like if you don't know what you are doing and/or you do something really dumb, you are MUCH more likely to get killed. Whew!
