Race Used Memorabilia
Anyone here collect race used gear or parts? If so, post up. Let's see what you got.
I'll try to post a pic each day of some of the stuff I have. I have boot, sliders, and gloves from several riders. A few fairings, and my personal holy grail, Duhamel's 95 rc45 rear wheel.
Here is a set of Nori Haga's race boots when he rode the r7 for Yamaha.
More to come

RE: Race Used Memorabilia
That's pretty cool. Where were you able to find the stuff?
I remember a while ago that the Honda Riders Club was having a drawing for autographed boots, gloves, sliders and jackets from Duhamel and Zemke. I didn't win [:@]I'm not sure if it was new stuff or raced in stuff.

I've been to soooo many baseball games and haven't even had ball come near my direction. How do you end up with Hagas boots. I can imagine how hard it would be to catch those.

the only baseball i have is a 1995 AllStar game ball. I got the Hagaboots from a former mechanic of his. Obtaining this stuff is like treasure hunting since road racing is not as big here as it is in some other places in the world. Charity auctions offer alot but they can get pricey. Kissing *** with corner workers works well for getting crashed bodywork. I live about 30 miles from a track that the CMRA uses. If you have not heard of CMRA, there has been a couple of decent racers that started there. Colin Edwards, Ben Spies, and some guy named Nicky Hayden and his two brothers use to race CMRA.
Here is a set of Tommy Haydens boots and gloves. The boots are from last years championship year and the gloves are from 2002
